![]() Later I had to check if the Firefox Nightly profile (which I use, in KDE Neon) and indeed the JSON file located in (/home/$USER/.mozilla/native-messaging-hosts) points to the backend. ![]() I don't know what to do anymore, I've had enough of modifying system files, or adding directories to $PATH that in the end do nothing.įirst of all, when installing the backend I got an error saying that "/home/$USER/.local/bin", where the Scrapyard backend is stored, did not belong to $PATH, once I added it nothing worked. Installing the Scrapyard backend has been one of the most absolutely agonizing things I have ever gone through using an extension that should be simple, not because of my own inability to install it correctly, but because once I do, it breaks on its own.
